Do you want to get serious with your blogging but do not have enough time? Or do you ever wonder how every other blogger does it, sharing content consistently? Well, I am here to share all the secret blogging tools that they use and you can use too.
Blogging requires multi-tasking every single day but not everyone has the time or resources. As a blogger myself I know how tiring it can be trying to stay on top of your blogging. In this post, I aim to share some-time saving blogging tools that I use constantly.
Blogging Tools every blogger should use!
I have been blogging for 5 years now and these blogging tools I am about to share have been helpful. Blogging whether part-time or full-time is not easy but there are tools that are very useful to have. Most of the tolls I will be sharing have free options and paid option with more tools.
1. Missinglettr – Scheduler
Last year a fellow blogger introduced me to Missinglettr, a new way to schedule and promote content. One thing I never have enough time for is promoting content throughout the year. This is why when I started using Missinglettr I knew I had to mention it to my friends.
One thing I love about Missinglettr is you can schedule for an entire year in segments. They already suggest the content based on your post and you can review before scheduling. For every post this takes me under 10 minutes to do, it’s a real-time saver. Plus you can track engagement on the dashboard and can link unto 4 social accounts. Presently, I am only sharing on two accounts; Twitter and Google+ as these are two platforms I need more engagement on.
2. Buffer – Scheduler
Another tool that I absolutely love for scheduling content on my social channels its Buffer. I have been using Buffer for almost 3 years now to schedule content on my preferred social accounts. What I love about Buffer is I can link up as many social accounts as I need.
Running a Blogger Group does take a toll on one’s time so scheduling is the next best thing. We have daily threads and monthly threads, thanks to Buffer I can schedule in advance. I have also added other group members to my account so they can schedule in the group.
For the blog, I have been able to put together a schedule of when I want my posts to be displayed. Twitter is a fast-moving social site so I schedule to post several times a day. The important thing with scheduling is to change-up the text, repetitive text can get flagged as spam.
3. Tailwind – Scheduler
Tailwind is another scheduler I only recently started using and in the last few weeks have seen improvement from my pins. When it comes to my Pinterest management strategy I honestly didn’t have one until I took a course. Every suitable post that I share, I always schedule my pins with Tailwind but also do manual pinning. Tailwind saves me a lot of time in the long run and my pins are shared over a course of time. Like buffer, you can set up a pinning schedule, I pin several times a day thanks to Tailwind.
Not everyone recommends Tailwind as most prefer manual scheduling but honestly, it helps. I have seen an increase in traffic from Pinterest to my blog due to scheduling my posts with Tailwind. The thing about Pinterest is, it’s a waiting game, posts can become viral months after being published. One of my most popular tweets is from a post I shared in 2016, it’s a pin that keeps on giving.
4. Canva – Design
For the longest time, I didn’t know how fellow bloggers were able to create beautiful and pinnable images. Until one day I read about from a fellow blogger and it changed my blogging world. I am able to create lovely images in just a few clicks and able to share them.
What’s lovely about Canva is you can use free images available or you can upload your own pictures. There are a lot of examples shared and sometimes all you need is to change the image and text. It truly is an ingenious blogging tool that every blogger should utilise.
5. PicMonkey – Design
Another blogging tool that I can not recommend enough for images is PicMonkey. It is one site that I have been using for a few years now to create most of my images. One of my new favourite portion of the site is their design templates and black canvas.
Like Canva, you can upload your own images or choose from the store they provide. With a paid versions you have lots of fonts and tools to choose from but a free version is fine too. I realised after a year using the site that the paid version for me was much better.
There are a lot of blogging tools including plugins that make it easy to blog. Sharing your content throughout the year and recycling is the best thing you can do for your blog. What are some of the blogging tools that you use?

I love Tailwind. It’s one of my favourites. I use ContentStudio for scheduling my social posts. (Which reminds me, that’s something I really need to sit down and do today. Haha!)

Canva is a wonderful tool. I noticed that Canva is better in IOS than android OS gadgets. The features are complete and is easier to navigate.
