Spring is one of the best seasons to explore Europe, there are fewer crowds, the weather is blissful and cherry blossoms are everywhere. As much as I love to travel during Autumn, I think Spring rivals it with its beautiful colours glistening the trees. As a travel addict, it got me thinking of the 9 Most Breathtaking Spring Destinations across Europe.
Europe is always an excellent Spring Destination, its different in each country but each has something unique. I have seen Europe via air, land but yet to see it via the sea and I know it will not disappoint. All I have to do is look at the available cruise excursions and start planning our Spring escape. But before then, we’ve compiled a list of 9 Most Breathtaking Spring Destinations across Europe.

9 Most Breathtaking Spring Destinations
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to bask in the beauty of the cherry blossoms in Seoul, South Korea. Unfortunately, I always seem to time my vacations there at the wrong time of the year. I have since given up on that dream and now want to focus close to home. In this post, I have compiled 9 Most Breathtaking Spring Destinations across Europe.

London, UK
Being British, I am totally biased when it comes to London, but it is a beautiful city in all seasons. Whilst you won’t find the streets filled with cherry blossoms, the beauty of Spring covers the entire city. Kew Gardens, Covet Gardens and around Buckingham Palace are some of the places we love to visit during Springtime.
Copenhagen, Denmark
The Danish capital seems to become more beautiful as the seasons change, I have seen the city in both Summer and Winter but never Spring. One thing that I love about the Danes when its Springtime, it’s the number of beer fests they can host. It is a little different from other European cities but that’s just how they like it.

Hallstatt, Austria
This small and idyllic village in the mountainous Salzkammergut region is a show stopper. Hallstatt is too picture perfect but during Spring, the city truly comes to life and scenic. Everyone who has been, talks of this fairytale city and just how gorgeous it is, I can not wait to visit for myself.
Stockholm, Sweden
One of the highlights of my visit to Stockholm during Spring was visiting the Kungsträdgården {King’s Garden}. I spent more time here than anywhere else in the city, the greenery is absolutely impressive. Not forgetting Vita Bergen, a large park offering great views of the city of Stockholm.

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
This small country in Europe can hold its own during Spring, though our visit was more winter than Spring, we still would recommend a Spring visit. You can drive from one end of the country to another within 2 hours, we recommend stopping in Viaden for impressive castle views.
Bucharest, Romania
I have great memories of visiting Bucharest and spending so much time at the Cismigui Gardens. Such a gorgeous part of the city, it is absolutely breathtaking and a much visit especially during Spring.

Paris, France
I love Paris and can not get enough of the love city of the world, I have visited in all seasons and Spring is my favourite. The crowds are definitely fewer and this allows you to enjoy the city at a more leisurely pace.
Amsterdam, Netherlands
Amsterdam is an all-time favourite destination all year round but Spring holds the candle. I love seeing the greenery around the city and just the abundance of tulips is absolutely gorgeous. The city is always buzzing but with fewer crowds around.

Prague, Czech Republic
Prague and I have had a never-ending love affair that I can’t seem to shake nor do I want to. Every season is pretty in Prague and though I prefer Prague in Winter, Spring is just as gorgeous. Definitely recommend visiting Prague any time of the year it is beautiful in its own right.
Europe is an amazing continent with each country similar but unique in its own way. A few things to note about visiting this lovely continent;
- It may be spring but the weather does play buggers so take one warm coat or jacket.
- Spring showers are a thing and in some cities {London, Copenhagen, Brussels} it can be more frequent.
- It is cheaper and fewer crowds but doesn’t mean some places won’t be busy.
- Spring fashion is great but so is being comfortable and warm, learn to pack smart.
For those planning a visit to Europe during Spring, have an amazing time as its a gorgeous time of the year.

I love visiting London in the spring when everything is waking up after a long winter. The puddles and dark clouds are gone and the wonder of the capital is captured in the spring sun
