Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Beauty} ASDM BEVERLY HILLS Introduction

ASDM BEVERLY HILLS ASDM Beverly hills is a USA company with a wide range of beauty products. I will confess and say when I was initially contacted I did not know anything about the company and thought maybe because I have such a huge (to me) USA blog audience they thought I was based in the states but nope they knew I was based in the UK and they wanted me to try out their products and share my findings with you.

About ASDM (from their website)

ASDM Beverly Hills innovatively fuses science and nature to create a sophisticated line of products that embraces the qualities of both worlds. Our collection contains over 100 powerful actives! All products are paraben, phthalate, formaldehyde, BPA, mineral oil, & petrolatum free (Just to name a few). We also do not test on animals.

Regular readers of this blog will know how much I love reviewing beauty products(among other things) and also know that I have been so blessed that since 2013 December I had not purchased any beauty products (cleansers mostly) or should I say I have never run out of beauty products since 2013. I did get the Ginseng beauty set when I was in Korea earlier this year but my friend bought it for me. The other products have bought have been the ‘back-up plan’ products which also play the role of travel essentials and that is the cleanser and cream from the Simple skincare range. Whilst in the states in October for business I did pick up the Victoria Secret beauty travel set which I am keeping for the longer trips I am planning next year.

Regular readers will also know that though I review a lot of beauty products I mostly stick to those with natural ingredients like Vitamin C based serums, Hyaluronic acid based serums or other natural ingredients. It is important when trying out a lot of products on your face to give breathing room between each product to see if you are reacting to it or better yet use those with same active ingredients. I have mentioned a lot on this blog to make sure you have the ‘back-up plan’ products handy in case things go wrong and for me that is where the Simple skincare range I mentioned above comes in.

ASDM BEVERLY HILLS were kind enough to send me 3 products to try and give my honest review and on top of that they are going to gift each one of these products to my readers so 3 giveaways will be appearing on this blog in the next few days, one for each product.

The products I will be reviewing and sharing on the blog in the next few days  are:

1. Vitamin C serum –  Vitamin C Serum 15% is infused with a host of antioxidants that help stimulate collagen production and restore a healthy, youthful glow to your skin.

2. 100% Pure Hyaluronic acid serum – 100% Pure Hyaluronic Acid ( HA serum) is able to permeate the skin and address aging where it begins. Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is the key compound that keeps our skin youthful and hydrated. It is a natural substance produced by skin cells that keeps skin moist, supple and smooth.

3. Tepez cream – This natural skin healing cream is formulated to provide your skin with maximum moisture while simultaneously healing any irritation or burn.

Have you ever heard of ASDM BEVERLY HILLS before? Ever used any of their products before or just products with vitamin c or hyaluronic acid?

I’ve never heard of this brand! I’m a bit of a skincare junkie (you do NOT want to see how many products I have crammed into by skincare drawers :D) so I’m really excited about this post and to see how well these perform!

I love that they are targeting bloggers outside the US! Skin care is such an important issue for me – it’s often overlooked until damage is starting to show. Getting ahead of it is so important 🙂

It’s nice that they combine Science and Nature in their product. You can make sure that the products are safer and at the same time make the most of technology.
