Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Best Cameras for Bloggers #BloggerRecommendations

As a blogger, I am always in search of good cameras that will provide quality pictures but don’t cost the earth. Whenever I am searching for a camera I always look for three things; easy of use, quality and affordability.

Other things that I look for are simple capabilities like ‘How to Connect your Lumix Camera to Wifi‘. Because being on blogger on them move, I need to be able to upload my photos online quickly. In this article, I will share 5 of the best cameras for bloggers as recommended by other bloggers.

Best Cameras for Bloggers as Recommended by Bloggers

One beautiful thing about the blogging community is that we are a helpful lot. I am not an expert on cameras, 90% of my pictures are taken using my mobile phone. The 10% when I use my Canon Powershot, it’s often in an automatic model and rarely do I change it.

Best Cameras as recommended by other bloggers.

Because of that and many other things, I thought I ask the people who know about it best. Below are some blogger recommendations on the best cameras for bloggers.

Milly of Mini-Adventures recommends a Canon EOS M3. She says it’s great – the best bits of a Canon DSLR, but with the portability of a mirrorless camera. The Flip-up screen is great for selfies and flat lays, and the WiFi connection that’s essential for camera-quality Instagram shots!

Fiona of From Fiona has an Olympus Pen and I love it because it’s light and easy to use. The flip screen is great for flat lays and the 45mm lens is fab for city photography too.

Paphapan of Clothes Confidant recommends a Canon 700D using the EF 50mm lens. It’s one of her favourites in her collection; has great colour vibrancy, really good for flat lays and outfit photos. The only downside is that there’s no zoom, but we’re willing to overlook that.

Kirsty of Luv and Lifestyle also recommends a Canon EOS M3 (and my iPhone).  She adores are canon, it offers a DSLR experience in terms of changing lenses etc but is lightweight. I also love the flip up screen on it.

Other blogger recommendations

I currently own a Canon PowerShot SX530 HS, it does not require changing lens. What I love about it is the quality of my pictures but also that it can connect to wifi. I am able to transfer pictures to my phone using the canon app. The picture below was taken with this camera with no edits.

Not all bloggers own cameras or even prefer them over mobile phones. Of late a lot of phones have amazing embedded cameras that are a great alternative. Another recommendation that I have is from Vicky of Miss Tilly and Me.

Vickey doesn’t use a professional camera for her blogging because she has a Huawei P20 Pro. It has a triple camera and produces professional looking pictures from it. It has so many different modes to use and it automatically puts it into the best camera mode.

She has had so many compliments on my pictures and it’s small enough to carry around in my bag, rather than my large camera. It also means she can save the pictures to her Google drive or upload to social media straight away.

As you can see, bloggers use a variety of cameras to produce professional pictures. But not neglecting the phone devices that we also use to supplement pictures on our blogs.

As a blogger, I am always in search of good cameras that will provide quality pictures but don't cost the earth. Whenever I am searching for a camera I always look for three things; easy of use, quality and affordabilit

Some lovely suggestions, I love using both a camera and my phone. I have the iPhone 8 Plus which is brilliant to just take shots on the go. My camera is a mirrorless Fugifilm XT10 I love how well my pics come out when I take it out and about.

I have an olympus pen which I take out and about with me as it’s just a smaller SLR camera, but I have a big Canon 6D to use at home for blog photography x

I often debate getting a camera, but to be honest I am useless at photography so just stick to using my phone!
