With only a few weeks left, I propose we celebrate summer with Funkin nitro cocktails, the mouthwatering drinks that are specifically made for summer. Over the last couple weeks, I have been sampling the deliciously made Funkin nitro cocktails and I must say that I am impressed not only with the taste but with the selection as well. These cocktails definitely brought back some good memories from my days as a university student where I definitely put my liver to the full test, labs included(if you know, you know).
Summer is one of my favorite seasons and this summer we have definitely been fortunate when it came to the summer weather. Since 2020, this is the first summer where I had incredibly busy weeks filled with catching up with friends over a nice good drink and living our best lives. Last weekend I was able to celebrate summer with Funkin nitro cocktails which I served as our drinks for a late summer’s evening. Everyone loved the cocktails and we are all still trying to decide which of the cocktails we tried is the best.
Disclosure: I was gifted the Funk Nitro Cocktails, all opinions shared are my own.

Celebrate Summer with Funkin Nitro Cocktails
Over the last couple of years, I have mellowed when it comes to what alcoholic beverages I choose from drink whiskeys to sipping wine. I am a Moscato girl through and through, get me one of those Pink Moscatos from the Gallo family or that Zinfandel from the Barefoot and I am your girl. But, when it comes to going out to a club or even a local pub, you will often find me drinking either a nice cocktail or a cider. At home, when I am hosting, I often gravitate towards wine or let my friends make the cocktails for the night.
The cocktails I mention below are those that I was sent and able to try out, what I love about Funkin Cocktails is that they offer both alcoholic versions and ‘alcohol-free’ cocktails so everyone can enjoy them.
Peach on the beach 4.5/5
I devoured this in one breath, because …’ anything on the beach’ will always be my first choice, I feel like this was a comforting cocktail for me. It’s that one cocktail that you can always call upon when you want to drink but don’t want to get drunk.
Spiced Rum Zombie 3.5/5
I have never tried a spiced rum zombie because I have tried to purposely avoid anything with rum in the name, so I had no comparison for this one. I would say it tasted interesting, something easy and fresh to drink but personally wouldn’t be my first choice of cocktails.
Espresso Martini 3/5
I am new to the world of espresso martini cocktails but I have been enjoying them a lot of late, I found the cocktail mix not to be too strong compared to some that I have tried in the bars and pubs.
Passion Fruit Martini 4/5
Any ‘passion fruit containing’ cocktail will always be a hit with me, I definitely enjoyed this, and I believe I drank it immediately after the ‘Peach on the Beach’. Everyone who sampled this cocktail enjoyed it and we would definitely buy it again.
Pina Colada 4/5
You can never go wrong with a classic like a Pina Colada and maybe I am biased already as it’s one of my favorite drinks. I loved the smooth texture of this nitro-infused drink, slightly different from what I have tried in the past but definitely enjoyed it.
If you are curious as to where you can find these cocktails then let me share, you can purchase directly from their website funkincocktails.co.uk, in local supermarkets, and even on Amazon and eBay.
Though summer is coming to an end, it doesn’t mean you can not continue to enjoy these premixed cocktails in the comfort of your own home, something I have come to appreciate since 2020.
