Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Review} FolliOne Hair Loss in Women

Hair loss in women, yes it’s a thing and not exactly alopecia but suddenly having a bald patch. A few years ago whilst at university, woke up to find mid section of my head I was losing hair. I was confused, I am young and healthy and no family history or hair loss in women so why me? Honestly I couldn’t reconcile with this feeling, I tried to laugh it off but honestly hair loss?

For the last few years I have tried many hair replacement products, but so far not seeing much improvement. My hair stylist has been trying a few things and it started to work but again not much has happened after. I will admit that I am not your typical on point person when it comes to my hair. I prefer to have it braided so I have little to minimal effort with my hair. When I removed the braids a few years back and saw that bold patch, it broke my heart. Now every style I do has to cover the middle section more than other areas.

Hair Loss

When I was chosen to review the FolliOne I was ecstatic because it was like another chance to try to look after my hair. This was my first time learning of the brand and also trying this type of hair products.

The package contained:

  • Growth Stimulator for women
  • Anti-Hair Shampoo
  • Liquid Hair Nutrition

Since I have only been using these products for a few days only I will not give a comprehensive review. This review is first impressions only and in a few weeks (even months) I will share my hair progress with you all.

First Impressions

As mentioned I hadn’t heard of the product prior to be contacted. I accepted because I am willing to try something new for the sake of the hair loss I am experiencing. My confidence when it comes to my hair is quite low so I do protective styles only.

The liquid hair nutrition is the biggest change for me as I have never had to drink anything for my hair. The time is not bad but it’s not the greatest either since it tastes like medicine. You’re advised to drink 5ml of the liquid nutrition 3 times a day before food. The purpose is

  • To maximise hair growth
  • For anyone suffering from hair loss
  • Beneficial for both men and women of all ages

The growth stimulator for women is a nice hair oil against hair loss. This one they advise to use 1ml with a spray or dropper daily applied to the scalp. I like the texture of the oil, not too oily and Nourishes my hair.

Anti-hair loss shampoo is one that I am yet to start using. Because I have braids on right now I don’t wash my hair regularly but will be using it soon. It is advised to use this shampoo every time you wash your hair. Massage it into the scalp for two minutes then rinse.

So far I am loving the look of this brand and the products and I hope it will help with my hair loss. Have you ever heard of the brand Follione or experienced hair loss?

Disclaimer: I was sent this products in exchange for an honest review, all opinions are my own.

Looking forwards to hearing how you get on with these, it’s not something that affects me personally but I can imagine it’s a huge confidence booster if it helps!

I don’t suffer with hair loss per sé, just breakages as I have dry curly long thick hair. Good review – would love to see an update x
