Instead of going on holiday, I want to find different days to make my garden a bigger part of my everyday living. I want to spruce it up. I want to be proud of my outdoor space and find ways to enjoy it for more than a few weeks every year. I want to transform it into a true extension of my indoor living. Backyards are still important but it’s time to give front yards attention too. This trend is all about maximising your space and creating a welcoming and beautiful entrance to your home.
As this article on Veranda mentions, “while the backyard has been a fabulous place to find peace of mind, discover a new hobby, or change up your Zoom background this year, we’re looking to our front yards to be a warm and inviting space to casually entertain in the sunshine.”
One thing I have been failing at is maintain the front garden which I know needs a lot of work but I intend to hire someone to maintain it for me regularly. The back yard is in great shape now but the from garden leaves a lot to be desired but that is ok because I intend to do something about it.
