Keep Calm and Carry On

 

In my last post I mentioned how I am struggling with blogger’s block and my good friend Dharia at Dhariascloset.blogspot.com suggested to me a way to combat this blogger’s block. She told me to find any picture and trying writing anything and everything I am feeling when I look at the picture so here I am trying to do just that. So here goes nothing….

This picture is in my now room at my parents house and it sits just above the head of my bed. I see this picture every day and I never really notice it but today I stared long and hard and trying to gage what I am feeling when I look at it.

The words are simple and clear enough “keep calm and carry on”, well I am calm and I am carrying on.

I remember someone once telling me life’s a journey and how we choose to travel depicts how and where we will end up. I am a Christian and I believe in God the father, the son and the holy spirit and every time we are reminder to walk with The Lord and not to let the worldly influence take us off the narrow path we walk in that leads to our Heavenly Father. It is not an easy road to walk but it’s one I am privileged to partake in.

how do I feel when I look at the picture above? I feel comforted and it leaves a smile on my face.
