It is no secret that I am on a travel binge, currently I am on my way to Brno, Czech Republic and Vienna, Austria for a long weekend getaway. I can not seem to seat my back side down, every other weekend I am in another country and as much as I am loving it it can get a bit tiring (but it’s still fun). So far I have 2 long holidays booked off for the rest of the year and I have enough holidays left for a third one so I have been contemplating what I can do and places I can visit.

I have a few options which I think could be awesome from relaxing at a beautiful resort in Bali, visiting my friends in Australia to climbing Kilimanjaro. If I had to choose right now I would say a trip to Bali would be nice since it will involve enough cocktails to black out but if I am honest that does not feel me with excitement about the adventure ahead. Every getaway I have taken and will take is about seeing a new place and coming out of my comfort zone. Bali though beautiful and wonderful for me is at times like every other beautiful beach on planet earth. Kilimanjaro on the other hand is a life time of adventure awaiting to be taken.
I have many a times seen on travel and discovery channels how hard but totally worth it the climb of Kilimanjaro was. It is certainly not for the faint hearted and not easy but what’s fun about easy? I want heart pumping adventure (ok not sky diving or bungee jumping thank you very much), I want to travel and feel that I have accomplished something. Going to Ljubljana, Slovenia last year December was absolutely wonderful and so scary because it’s a country I had never been too, language I never spoke and everything was foreign to me.
With my heart set on Kilimanjaro, there are so many companies that are offering deals at the moment and all claim to be the best deals on the market. I am not one for all-inclusive deals but when I am going far (not weekend getaway) all-inclusive deals are all I usually look at before calculating myself how much getting to my destination and things to do once there will cost. Companies like Exodus travels have taken the pain out of calculating the travel to Kilimanjaro and offering all-inclusive deals and they come with great experience. You can choose either a 10 day adventure climbing Kilimanjaro (this includes flights) to 15 day travel plan, I would definitely want to try 10 days before I can manage 15 days. Check out the website for more information.

Wow. The photos on the link are beautiful. It’s bizarre to see a picture of a mountain with snow, but a giraffe in the foreground. A truly amazing place!
Once you’ve booked it, I wish you good luck on your expedition. Take loads of pics!
