November Rain is a brain child of Belinda Cooker launched in November 2016 to produce stylish rainwear. For those who have the pleasure of living in the UK you know one thing which shows without fail, rain! I am not one for this cold and dreary weather but I have learnt to embrace it over the years. Whilst I am all for embracing this weather, I love keeping warm because no one likes being cold. When I am out and about November Rain’s poncho is the answer to my rainy prayers. It’s success and popularity in the USA has led to the funding of hydroponic vegetable growing system at a children’s rescue mission in Northern Thailand valued at $3,000USD.

When I was given the chance to review my own rain coat poncho, I jumped at the opportunity. For me what stood out is November Rain’s committment to donating 10% of its revenues to charityy. The sales from each quarter determine the amount of funding directed towards water projects in developing countries. If you remember my last featured brand MAHI Leather, their commitment was to a portion of sales to water charities. This in itself should speak to how much need there is to support water projects in developing countries.
November Rain is not limiting the resources given to just clean drinking water, they are also funding irrigation projects for crops in areas where water can be the main limiting factor for people being able to put food on the table.

Whilst I am loving the poncho I did suffer a few worries which include the coat hat was too big for my head. Because of this it kept coming off during my walk to work in the rain, but this is something fixable. I also stupidly made a tear on the bottom of the coat though it didn’t affect the coat protection in any way.
