Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Fashion Monday} Swimwear for everyday

Swimwear for someone of us is the most dreaded piece of clothing we own, I know it is for me. Because it helps me hide all those layers of winter comfort I indulged in without a care in the world. This piece of clothing also signifies that summer is near or its beach day.

It’s always important to ensure you have swimwear that you’re comfortable in and also looks good. Nothing worse than being uncomfortable in what you wear at the beach as that ruins many a summer getaway. I was ecstatic to have an opportunity to choose my choice of swimwear from Simply Beach. It’s not always that you get to buy designer branded swim wear and get to show it off.

Swimwear for everyday

Simply Beach is your one stop shop for all gorgeous designer brand swim wear. You can’t help but get your hands on some of their latest pieces which are absolutely gorgeous. It was extremely hard for me to only choose two items from a range of everything gorgeous. But I thought about the items that I use wear the most in my life and that’s bikini bra tops. swimwear

I am someone who loves items I can multi purpose, I chose Horizon and Deco from the brand Freya. The reason being these two bikini tops look like your regular bras but are easier to wear and very comfortable. First thing I noticed when I tried them on was how silky soft the material was to the touch. Just looking at them you would think they might be just your regular bra except for the bikini clip.

The simplicity and beauty of these bikini tops really grew on me because they are just perfect for me. I rarely shop for swimwear because I can never find just that right cup size. The majority of the high street brands don’t seem to readily cater for DDD or E cup sizes. And when they do, they are not normally as cute as other cup sizes nor comfortable.

Whether you’re someone like me with bigger bust and wanting a comfortable and stylish swimwear, shop via Simply Beach. Summer is not far off and most of us will be jetting off to sunnier locales so go check it out now. You will definitely thank me later with the awesome choices available.

This sounds an ideal shop for people who struggle to find bikinis that fit. I have problems as I have a small back and larger cup size. I’ll have to remember to look here next time I need new swimwear.

Oooo cute AND comfy? Nothing better! You’re so right about swimwear…it is really important to choose something that makes you feel comfortable. Forget other people’s opinions. YOU are the only one in your body, YOU need to be happy with it!

I love this swimsuit – especially its bra-like design. As a well endowed woman myself, I agree on how much bathing swimsuits can be a pain. Getting the right one almost seems impossible.
