Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

November 2019 Collaborations | Sponsor Roundup

As the month comes to a close, I am excited to share our November 2019 Collaborations sponsor roundup highlighting all the wonderful collaborations we had. Every month I sit down, take note of all the wonderful opportunities we’ve enjoyed and taken a moment to share my thanks. Outside of this post being a recap for our readers both old and new, this post is all about giving my sponsors another shoutout as a big thanks for working with us.

With only a couple of weeks between now and Christmas, it is no surprise that the November 2019 Collaborations include gift guides. This year I wanted to share only a few gift guides of the things that I am gifting my family but also items that I am gifting myself this year. As I write this post I am listening to Christmas hits with my favourite ‘all I want for Christmas’ playing in the background, we’ve started all the festivities in my home.

But before I get carried away by the Christmas fairies, I wanted to share our November 2019 Collaborations and make a special mention to the brands we had the opportunity to collaborate with. If you want to collaborate with us then please visit our Work with Me page for more details on the types of collaborations we offer.

November 2019 Collaborations | Sponsor Roundup

At the beginning of November 2019, I was overwhelmed by all the travels I had planned and was ready to go on. One thing that seemed to have taken a back seat was the blog but even then I have been fortunate enough to collaborate with various brands in all the areas that we cover on this blog. With Christmas fast approaching, we’ve collaborated with a few brands that are giving me ideas for perfect Christmas gifts for loved ones.

If you are like me and are still hunting for the best Christmas presents then let me share some of the November 2019 collaborations and hope this makes a lovely gift for your loved ones. I am hopeful that the collaborations we had in November will give you an idea of some of the items you can get for your families and friends.

With the weather getting colder by the minute, we decided to share some of our favourite tips to keep your home warm this season. I for one am not looking forward to what winter has in store for us but glad we’ve got out outdoor lighting sorted ready for the short days as well as Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, I often struggle with storage during the holidays so I hooked up with Claris World who gifted us some storage boxes and now I can keep my tiny apartment looking tidy.

Speaking of keeping my tiny apartment tidy, every single time I travel away from home I always make sure I clean my home beforehand. One thing I love doing before every trip is making this No-bake energy balls with ingredients from Buy Whole Foods Online. And on other occasions, I opt to leave my meat marinated for a couple of days in the Fridge. I think it is important to prepare for your return to your home even before you leave for a trip. It seems weird to some people but I like to be prepared even with things like my haircare products.

Travelling is something that I do way too much of but not tried cruising because I have always thought it was for older people and it looks way too luxurious for my budget. Often my budget caters to destinations much closer to home like these 7 European cities you should visit during winter. And sometimes, I choose destinations even much closer to home like London, but thankfully I don’t have to settle for the capital and I can venture out the capital to various English countryside locales with City Wonders.

As a frequent traveller and content creator, there is nothing I love more than encouraging people to travel more. It doesn’t have to be abroad, it can be in your own backyard like what I did with City Wonders, went on a day trip to various locations from London. Even though it was an all-day affair, we had a lot of fun and explored a lot of places.

I hope this recap gave you an idea of some of the wonderful November 2019 collaborations that we enjoyed. I don’t take for granted the collaborations that have come my way nor the readers that support this blog. Thank you for continuing to support the brands that support me.
