Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. {Monthly Roundup} June 2017 Sponsors ~ Thank you

June 2017 Sponsors is the sixth installment of the monthly roundup where I show my gratitude to my many sponsors. Obviously none of this would be possible without my incredible readers who time and again come back to A July Dreamer. Blogging is one avenue that I didn’t know much getting into but has incredibly changed my life in many ways. Four years ago on July 8th, I didn’t think any of this would be possible nor that this would be the most incredible hobby ever.

March 2017 Sponsors

Regular readers know I am a part-time blogger but try to push out content Monday through to Friday. It’s never easy as with everything you go through some good and some bad times. I have moments of pure inspiration and can write 5-10 posts in one sitting. Other times I could barely master the courage to type my minimum of 300 words. But after a couple of years even months under your belt you start to appreciate blogging and the fun side of its uncertainty.

Part of that uncertainty is the incredible sponsors that reach out to me to collaborate. I also work with many PRs who represent incredible brands that sometimes I am gobsmacked they want to work with my little blog. Then there are times when you truly want to work with a brand because you believe in them and they say no. But dust yourself up and try something else because that’s how life is. Sometimes it’s a yes and all is well whilst other times it’s a no and can ruin your day. Your reaction to it all determines your path and if you will last in this “internet world” of blogging.

June 2017 Sponsors

As mentioned earlier, I work with incredible PRs who represent amazing brands and this month I worked with them more than Brands directly. Whilst it’s always nice to work with the brand directly I feel with a PR you develop a relationship and which can only be good. I have had PRs who’ve recommended me to their friends and been working together since 2014. This was a time when I got serious about monetizing {making money} the blog after I bought a domain. Helping me stay afloat with my blog are these June 2017 sponsors who graced the blog throughout the month.

smart living

June 2017 Sponsors ~ Home Collaborations

When it comes to your home, you want only the best and I was happy to collaborate with these two brands. Smart living is a concept that has been around for the longest time. Majority of us have smart devices in our homes, be it the Fridge or the washing machine. It is hard to be more than a foot away from technology these days but can also be handy. Being able to control your home appliances whilst you’re out and about is something we all want to do. How many times have you forgotten to switch off an appliance and have to head back home? If you had smart appliances you could do it all from your phone.

Post: Smart Living with Samsung – {Samsung}

Outside appliances another important part of your home is the flooring you have. My entire apartment has carpet except for the bathroom where we have tiles. I have always thought about what types of flooring I want in my home and it’s always a tough choice. A choice narrowed down between Vinyl and Laminates but I knew nothing about these floor types and did some research.

disneyland Paris

Travel Collaborations

Regular readers know how much I love to travel so much that I travel at least one weekend a month. June has been the exception where I have traveled 3 weekends out of 4, well traveling the 4th too but home-bound. For me traveling is like getting a new pair of your favourite jeans or a taste of your favourite food. I can not get enough of it and wish I could travel every week but alas life has other plans. This year Disneyland Paris is celebrating 25 years of magical fantasy and I can not believe it. Disneyland Paris is the same age as my little sister so makes sense to plan a trip there soon.

trench coat

June 2017 Sponsors ~ Fashion Collaborations

Fashion like traveling is life to me, no I am not a fashionista but I do love sharing outfit ideas. I believe that looking good does not only start from the outside but the inside. If you feel good inside it shows outside too and if you love your outfit it shows in how you wear it. Sometimes we might like something but looks nothing like we imagined or seen on others. I say, stop comparing your apple shape to their hourglass and vice versa, make it work for YOU.

Fathers day 2017 gift ideas

Father’s Day Gift Ideas

June is one month in the year where we celebrate the amazing father’s doing their thing everyday. Anyone can be a dad but it takes a special person to be a father. This quote is one that I love so much, I am fortunate to have an amazing father. He’s the dad that everyone wants to have and we got him, we are totally blessed to have him. This year I wanted to do something extra special for my dad so I bought him an iPhone 6 plus. Whilst I always say these days Father’s day like Mother’s day are overly commercialized I knew he needed a new phone. But if buying him a phone wasn’t something you wanted to do, I shared these articles to help.

And there you have it, the incredible and amazing sponsors I collaborated with in June 2017. All thanks to the awesome readers who time and again check out this small part of the internet world.

You know have you ever thought about a post or series about working with brands? I know lots of bloggers would love to learn more about that whole world. Also a collaboration with Disney Paris?! That sounds amazing! That has actually been on my mind recently as I live in Spain now. I was thinking about how it would be fun to explore Disney as an adult and then was like “well should just go to Disney Paris because I’m so close now!”

I did think about a post about working with brands but I always come up short because I don’t think I have anything to offer that many a blogger has not heard already. But I am not discounting it totally as I would love to do it one day.
