Heavenly Desserts was founded in 2008 and the famous dessert cafes are run by Yousif and Imran. We were recently invited to the Oxford branch to Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Heavenly Desserts. The cafe is located along London road next to Starbucks in Headington Oxford. #HDOxford is nicely decorated with enchanting and flavoursome desserts on display.

The Oxford branch opens from 10 am till midnight 7 days a week and offers takeaway and delivery with deliveroo. Heavenly Desserts serves the taste of paradise to its customers in forms sweet desserts. For those allergic to gluten, there are gluten-free dessert options on the menu which are just delicious.

With Valentine’s Day only a few weeks away, we were happy to Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Heavenly Desserts. I don’t know about you but I am addicted to sweet things and my dentist can attest to this. Being able to Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Heavenly Desserts, was extra special as we made it a sisterly afternoon date.

Before we went to Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Heavenly Desserts, we spent the morning at Waddesdon Manor. Once a month we make a point of visiting at least one National Trust in Oxfordshire. After spending the morning exploring new parts of Waddesdon Manor, we drove back into Oxford.

Upon our arrival at Heavenly Desserts, we quickly were shown to our reserved table. The cafe was fairly busy with families, couples and individuals placing their takeaway orders. We loved that between the 12-17 February you can get complimentary chocolate during your visit. Looking through the menu, we knew exactly what we wanted to try out.

From the new menu, we were able to order the American Waffle with gluten-free sorbet and Cheesecake. I am a sucker for a good cheesecake and was eager to try their new item to the menu. We learned that every season, Heavenly Desserts change up their menu.

I am happy to report that their cheesecake was creamy and deliciously yummy. The American Waffle also got the perfect score from my sister who absolutely loved it. We then went on to try the mocktails; raspberry with mint and Foodiepls tried the mango. Both were refreshingly delicious, filling but not overly sweet which was perfect.

Feeling full to the brim, we decided to wash down the yummy desserts with a nice cuppa. Heaven Desserts has various teas on offer, we took some home and tried the rose bud at the cafe. We also learned that they sell chocolates and make your self cakes in mason jars.

We had such an amazing time at #HDOxford and highly recommend a visit to your local store. For those in Oxford, don’t forget Heavenly Desserts can deliver with Deliveroo.

Mmmmm, these look amazing! But but sadly I don’t have a partner at the moment, and most of my friends are coupled up – so I’ll be spending Valentine’s Day alone this year 😦 x
