Ciao Gusto Italian Deli at Ocado |Authentic Italian Foods

Ciao Gusto Italian Deli is a mother of all alliance bringing together major Italian food and wine brands in one place. Everyone who loves Italian foods is at least familiar with one of the 30+ major brands that feature in the Ciao Gusto Italian Deli. I often buy Barilla pasta and Cannamela herbs and spices for most of my Italian inspired dishes at home.

When an opportunity arose to collaborate with Ciao Gusto, I jumped at the chance to try other brands in the Italia del Gusto alliance. Having shopped via Ocado before, I only have one complaint, the minimum order is £40 but appreciate the quality and prices of the products. In this post, we will focus on Ciao Gusto brand Ponti that we’ve not tried before.

Those who know me know I love nothing more than online shopping and Ocado is not only very affordable but stocks quality products. Having bought a range of products from them, I highly recommend switching your online food shop to Ocado. I am grateful for this collaboration that I am able to try other popular Italian brands in the Italia del Gusto alliance.

Ponti is a brand that I had not used before and was excited to try their amazing range of jarred vegetables and balsamic vinegar. I was more than happy to try Ponti because all the Italia del Gusto brands had been on top quality and very affordable. Because Ponti is well known for its jarred vegetables and vinegar, our shopping list was simple.

One of our favourite recipes to try this week has been using the grilled peppers and mushrooms from Ponti and serving on a side with rice and salmon fillet. A few salads that we’ve made we used the balsamic vinegar and though wasn’t sure what to expect, we did love the salad.

At the end of the week, we will be sharing the aforementioned recipe on the blog. It is a different take on our usual pasta inspired dish which we often consider an Italian delicacy. Though we are totally biased because we love Ciao Gusto, we highly recommend trying Ponti jarred vegetables, they are divine.
