Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Combination Skincare Routine with Forever Living

When it comes to facial skincare, it’s important to know what type of skin you have; combination, dry or oily. For those struggling with combination skin, we are sharing our Combination Skincare Routine with Forever Living. It can be a little frustrating when the products you use only sort one of the two combination skin problems.

Combination skin is often described as either having; oily face with dry patches or dry skin with oily patches. Throughout my teen years, I suffered from oily skin with dry patches, I wish someone had told me the benefits of oily skin. In more recent years, I have found myself suffering from dry skin with oily patches which are often the bridge of the nose.

I am glad to be sharing my newly updated Combination Skin Routine with Forever Living using the Sonya Daily Skincare System. This is the first time I have used these products but I am already impressed by them. Before I can recommend a new product, I have to have used it for at least 14 days.

Combination Skincare Routine with Forever Living

Forever Living is an American company founded in 1978, a brand committed to producing products of quality and purity. For over 40 years they have sought out nature’s best sources for health and beauty. Forever Living is passionate about helping everyone around the world look and feels better.

Not only with skincare products but nutritional drinks including bee products. I was excited to try the Combination Skincare Routine with Forever Living and share the results after using the products for three weeks. Though it is a brand I am new too, it is one that has definitely I am adding to my own skincare routine.

Combination Skincare Routine with Forever Living

Over the last few weeks, I have been putting the Combination Skincare Routine with Forever Living to the best. I am someone who rarely deviates from products that already work but I was very curious about Forever Living. The company is also known as the Aloe Vera company, the daily system I put to the test is made purely from aloe vera.

The Sonya Daily Skincare System has three steps, three for the morning and three for the evening. I have used aloe vera based products before and have been impressed with the results. It is why I did not hesitate to try Forever Living’s Sony daily skincare routine, it looked promising. The Sonya Daily Skincare System as mention has three steps;

Refreshing Gel Cleanser

This cleanser has a cooling effect but does not make the skin tight which I love as it focuses on moisturising the skin. It is rich in components that support combination skin type whilst soothing as you cleanse. I have loved the look and feel of the product, I use it twice daily on both my face and neck. It has no smell, lathers really well and helps to remove dirt and makeup really easily.

Illuminating Gel

The illuminating gel works it little like a toner, I use this twice daily after cleansing my face. I love that it evens the skin tone and makes it feel soft, gives a smooth complexion and a more healthy glow. The aim of this illuminating gel is to give back the skin its natural glow which we lose over time as we get older.

Refining Gel Mask

This refining gel mask is different from your everyday mask in that you can sleep with this on. I love that it helps my skin as I sleep by controlling oil, delivering moisture and balances the skin. It’s advised to apply this mask 2-3 times a week after applying the illuminating gel. I was surprised by how cool the gel feels when you apply it to the skin and it gets absorbed pretty quickly.

Soothing Gel Moisturizer

At first glance, the moisturizer looks like a lotion but I was impressed that it didn’t leave any residue. It gets absorbed pretty quickly leaving the skin feeling moisturised and it helps to even the skin tone. I use this product twice daily, at night I apply it on after wearing the mask for an added moisture boost.

What I love about the Sonya system is that all the products are made with botanical and lush ingredients. I rarely change up products from my facial skincare but I am happy with the Combination Skincare Routine with Forever Living.

Have you ever tried Forever Living products? Do you know what your skin type is? What is your go-to products that can be used any season?

I totally agree, it’s really important to know and to analyse one’s skin type before using a particular product. These products look good, I could try these!

I’d say I have combination skin as I have an oily t zone but I’m dry everywhere else. This stuff looks good esp the gel cleanser as I’m definitely way more of a gel fan than balm or cream x
