Looking back at each decade, I feel both β€˜older’ and β€˜younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🀣🀣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🀨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Sponsor Roundup: March 2019 Collaborations

At the end of every month, I allocate time to highlight all the collaborations we’ve had in the ended month. In an effort to remain transparent, the March 2019 Collaborations highlight all the various collaborations we had. All collaborative posts are declared as such so our readers know which posts are advertorial.

When I started blogging back in 2013, I had no plans of ever monetizing the blog, all I shared were random rumblings. Six years on the blog is now a different space but one that I am very proud of and work hard for. As the month comes to a close, I thought I share the March 2019 Collaborations listing all the brands we collaborated with.

March 2019 Collaborations

If you’re a brand or PR and want to collaborate with us on A July Dreamer, please reach out. Visit our Work with Me page for more details on the types of collaborations we offer. We accept collaborations in the following areas; Lifestyle, Travel, Fashion, Food+Drink and Beauty.

Sponsor Roundup: March 2019 Collaborations

March was such an incredibly busy month, after returning from our Thailand Adventures, I was jetlagged for many days. Going back to work was tough after 2 weeks of lazying in the sun and drinking cocktails. Coming back to reality was tougher than I thought but I am glad to have been taken time off from work and blogging.

America’s Hidden Treasures – we are off to America in the summer and can not wait to visit some of these hidden treasures. Though I have been to the states before, I have only ever visited New York but have always wanted to visit its hidden treasures.

7 Tips for Excelling in Your Career – as a career-focused woman, I know the importance of added training when taking on a new role. I always search for opportunities to better myself and my chosen careers either via internal or external training.

Combination Skin Care Routine with Forever Living – I am someone who takes pride in taking care of my skin. When Forever Living asked me to try out their aloe vera beauty range, I jumped at the opportunity. Keeping my skin blemish free and keeping it looking young and fresh is my motto.

How to Refresh Your Home for Spring – Spring has definitely sprung and its time to put the house into repairs it suffered from winter. I share simple tips that can make your home more lively and make it feel refreshed.

Other collaborations that happened in March but review posts will happen in April include;

  • Day 2 – a dry wash spray which I am currently putting to the test.
  • Adexe Watches – reviewing the Miniature Sistine range which is absolutely gorgeous

Excited to see what April has in store for us but forever grateful for the March 2019 collaborations.

It looks like you had some great collaborations in March. I’ve just had a quick browse of your America’s Hidden Treasures post. I’ve been to America a few times (my Dad lives in Utah) but there’s so much more I’d love to see!
