Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Monthly Roundup} December 2018 Sponsors

Every month end I make time to compile a list of all the collaborations I have had in the month. The December 2018 Sponsors is the twelfth instalment for 2018 in the sponsor’s roundup series. I believe in being thankful for both the little things and the big things in life.

When I started compiling the December 2018 Sponsors list, I had to take a moment to reflect on the year. It is weird to think 2018 has come to an end and in a few hours, it will be 2019. I am grateful for all the wonderful collaborations I have had on A July Dreamer and excited for 2019.

Before we get away talking about aspirations for 2019, I have rounded up the December 2018 Sponsors post. I am grateful to all the various sponsors or opted to collaborate with A July Dreamer. Another important group to thank are the readers of this blog thank you for supporting the brands that support me.

Roundup: December 2018 Sponsor

December has been such a busy, stressful but wonderful month of craziness. I am glad Christmas is over and done with but saying that most of the collaborations where gift guide orientated. The December 2018 Sponsors list is lite full of awesome Christmas Gift ideas and travel related collaborations.

  • Revamp Bathroom in 2019
  • Canolfan Y-Fron Bunk House
  • Birmingham city

Home+Beauty Collaborations

Last week I shared ways to Revamp the bathroom on a budget, we shared some 9 simple tips. Our family home is in need of an overhaul revamp, starting with the bathroom and ending with the Kitchen. I recently shared some gift ideas for Homeowners, something that can be used beyond the festive season.

Over the last few weeks, I have been sharing content on beauty as winter comes into force. Those with acne problems, find the dos and don’ts on skin maintenance. Speaking on skin maintenance we also covered ways Dead Sea Mud can help your skin. Then we shared some trending makeup styles for 2019 and body positivity tips.

Travel Collaborations

Regular readers know I am always happy to share collaborative travel content. As a travel blogger myself I want to share content that I either haven’t shared or would love to visit. This includes reasons to visit the South of France and tips on ways to choose a travel destination.

One important thing that I always advise others to have and always have on me is Travel Insurance. In our recent collaborative post, we Pros and Cons of Travel Insurance., it was interesting reading the comments. On our recent trip to North Wales, we stayed at Bunk House in Canolfan Y Fron. I made sure I had adequate travel insurance.

We also had an incredible opportunity to spend a night at the Ardencote Spa and Hotel. Then squeesed in a trip to Birmingham and shared the highlights of the trip.

  • Perfect Christmas Gifts for Mum

Other Collaborations

As it was Christmas it made sense to do one more gift guide and this time for mums. I am fortunate to have been able to buy all the items I listed in the article for my mum. Plus I was sent some really lovely popcorns and I can’t get enough.

  • Perfect Christmas Gift Guide for Mums
  • Gluten-Free Gourmet Popcorns

December like November was an extremely busy month one am glad has come to an end. It is shocking that 2018 is almost over but I am truly excited for 2019 and the adventures ahead.
