Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. {Fashion Monday} A Day out on the Thames

The Thames River is the second longest river in the United Kingdom after Severn but the longest in England. It runs through the southern part of England but most notably in London.

** LONDON WESTMINSTER PIER ** Dreary day but great atmosphere as always in London thanks to @365tickets and @thamesriverservices for this opportunity to cruise the #thamesriver and have a lovely #dayout in London with my little sister #Travel #travelling #traveling #traveller #travelgram #travels #instatravel #traveldiaries #travelblogger #travelblog #traveladdict #igtravel #neverstopexploring #wanderlust #liveauthentic #lifeofadventure #natgeotravel #welltravelled #iamtb #searchfinddiscover #inspiringtravelpics #tblogger #tourist #londontrip

It’s Sunday and I have only one item on my agenda for the day, go cruising on the River Thames with my sister. Nothing else was on the cards, just that one item but knowing my sister there would be more. And more there was, we managed to finish the cruise on the Thames and head off to Oxford Street for some shopping. But prior to all this happening I needed to figure out what to wear to London. As you know I am an advocate for first dressing comfortably and style comes second. Where you can achieve both effortlessly then go for it, fashion fits everyone.

Day out on the thames

A Day out on the Thames

The most comfortable items of clothing I own outside my pajamas has to be skinny jeans. I feel you can never go wrong with dressing skinny jeans as I feel they go with almost everything. Personally when in doubt about outfits I go black, as you can never go wrong with black. Once I have chosen the black items, I think of items that I want to pair with that. For the Day out on the Thames, I opted for blue skinny jeans, black long-sleeved top, pink long cardigan and pink canvas.

on the thames

What I love about this simple outfit is how comfortable and warm it is. I paired this outfit is a leather jacket and heavy scarf but rarely had them on because I was feeling warm enough. This outfit is one that I have replicated many times, with many colours and has not failed me yet. You could go all out with this outfit and pair with ankle boots instead of canvas. You could remove the leather jacket and pair with a mac jacket or long belted coat, possibilities are endless.
