Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Monthly Roundup} March 2018 Sponsors

Saying thank you doesn’t cost a penny nor does it hinder anyone’s progress in life. Through this blog, I have been fortunate enough to experience so many wondrous things. It is with that heart that I wish to show my gratitude to the March 2018 Sponsors. Saying please and thank you are basic and good manners everyone should explore in life. I know I wouldn’t be where I am (blogging wise) if I wasn’t grateful for the many collaborations. With that being said, here are the wonderful March 2018 Sponsors who made this post possible.

January 2018 Sponsors

Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul – Henry Ward Beecher.

The March 2018 Sponsors roundup is the third appreciation post of the year showcasing my Sponsors. Here on A July Dreamer we collaborate with a variety of brands and companies. From Travel {Casale Amati}, Fashion {JORD}, Beauty {KRASR} and Lifestyle {SunLife} to mention a few. We do not discriminate whether big or small, A July Dreamer is always happy to collaborate. Visit our Work with Me page to find out our fees and types of collaborations we offer. Thank you everyone for supporting the brands that support me.

{Monthly Roundup} March 2018 Sponsors

Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it – William Arthur Ward. This is another gratitude quote that resonates with me, because that is exactly how I personally feel. It is important to express gratitude without expecting anything in return. I have been blogging for almost 5 years and every brand/PR email is always humbly. Here is a list of awesome brands/PRs that I had the opportunity to collaborate with.

  • Kwit Fit – our collaboration was via PR and we’ve shared some Summer Road Trip preps specifically car maintenance.
  • Age UK Mobility – another PR collaboration where we put together some considerations for traveling abroad with aging parents.
  • Bali Travel Guide – this was a guest collaboration, having been to Bali I was keen to share this article. Especially now that we are planing to head over there as a family later in the year.
  • Pool toys of the rich and famous definitely made me laugh I had to share this collaboration. Obviously I know the pool toys like the next person but it was interesting to see what celebs buy.
  • Terrese Mens Wear – this collaboration we put together a Spring wishlist for men’s fashion. Though we don’t share it often enough on the blog, we do love sharing men’s fashion.
  • With Valentine’s Day all gone and forgotten, it was nice to show how-to prepare a romantic meal. I love cooking for OH but sometimes this can take time for its nice to learn of recipes that are quick and easy.
  • As an ambassador for *KRASR, I was very happy to receive the blackhead remover to use. I am still testing out the machine but shared my Spring Beauty Routine, pretty simple routine.

Thank you to all the March 2018 Sponsors, it’s been a real pleasure working together. It is always a humbly moment when a PR or brand reaches out to collaborate with A July Dreamer.

Expressing gratitude is similar to giving smile, it cost nothing but an effort. Most of the times, it lifted people’s spirits up, just like you lifted mine this morning..

What a wonderful and thoughtful idea. People don’t really say thank you much anymore in this day and age. This is like writing a thank you card and nobody does that anymore.
