Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Monthly Roundup} November 2016 Sponsors

November 2016 Sponsors, how do I even begin to thank you? November has been such an incredible and busy month. So many things to focus on yet so little time to do them all. Your sponsorship to A July Dreamer is more than I could have ever thought possible, I am forever grateful.

I started for the sole purpose of having a voice online where I could share my change in life online. Having just moved from home after finishing university I lacked friends and family near me. The online community helped to fill that void and continuously become a home away from home.

Monthly Roundup ~ November 2016 sponsors

Hotel luxury at home

November 2016 Sponsors definitely took me by surprise with the biggest surprise being my recent collaboration with Leesa Mattress. It is like they knew how much I needed a new mattress after online complaining to a friend offline. I recently remarked to a friend that how wonderful would it be to have this mattress at home. Good quality hotels spend a good fortune on quality mattresses for the guests to have a relaxed stay. We all want the hotel luxury at home, Leesa Mattresses definitely gives you that and I can testify to it. As an insomniac it’s difficult for me to spend more than 3-4hrs, this is the norm for me. Since having the Leesa Mattress I am getting a good night sleep every night, waking up feeling rejuvenated.

Working in an office I had an opportunity to collaborate with Furniture-Work, I spend 10+ hours at my desk. In the office I spend 6+ hours and then at home 4+ hours so its important to have good quality chairs. As much as I appreciate a good night sleeps with my new Leesa Mattress it is just as important to think about my office chair.

Toms is not a brand I was familiar with but like everything clothing related I get way too excited. I shared how to dress your ankle boots, basically how I like to dress my ankle boots. There is nothing difficult about it, though I was not exactly an ankle boots kind of girl I embraced them.

November 2016 Sponsors ~ #travel

As frequent traveler it makes for me to share some of the companies that I often use when traveling. Intercontinental hotels group (IHG) has sparked the idea of Staycations across the UK not just jetting abroad. The IHG collaborates with many hotel companies around the world bringing you many choices at your finger tips.

In September has the pleasure of visiting my family in Johannesburg, South Africa. It was my first time visiting South Africa, I am planning in heading back in April next year. Plans are already in motion, we will be traveling with kids (my cousins) so not all places will be drivable. Due to my busy schedule, time is line so flying with Kulula Airlines definitely meets our needs.

November 2016 Sponsors ~ Brantano

boots

Brantano started out as a small family owned business in 1953 but did not reach the British shores until 1998. They have been passionate about shoes for 60 years starting with a small factory shop before expansion. The month of November unlike any other month I have collaborated with the Brand (via PR) twice. I have always loved Brantano as they bring together the best Brands in one place for ease of shopping. I shared my November Must have items which included a pair of lovely ankle boots perfect for this weather.

Not long after, I was asked if I could review a pair of ankle boots on the blog. This does not happen enough for me not to jump and down keeping all the bragging rights. I immediately choose my pair of ankle boots and awaited their arrival.

Recent Fashion additions include the Chorus True D Fit and two other ankle boots from various brands. The Chorus True D fit boots are very comfortable even though they have a heel on them. I am able to walk easily in them and I love the elegance they add to my outfits.

November 2016 Sponsors ~ others

A few years ago I started to lose hair in the middle of my head. I didn’t think much of it as I figured it’s because I was growing out the treated hair. A few months later, the other parts on my head hair started to grow but nothing for the middle. I started to get worried but not scary worry so I just platted my hair for year and half.

Earlier this year I noticed this hair was really not growing back, I mean it looked like it never would. So when FolliOne offered me to try their anti-hair loss products I jumped at the opportunity. I have seen some change but since I am not good at religiously looking after my hair it will take some time to show real growth.

I am a jewelry addict, I am one of those people who always have to buy a piece of jewellery in all the shops. Over the years I have curbed my addiction but when I was asked to review the Pearlrich silver necklace I was elated. As a teenager I had a obssession with heart-shaped necklaces and rings, I used to collect them. This necklace is made from great material and I have been wearing it daily as I am in love.

Thank you to all my lovely November 2016 Sponsors, check out my work with me page for my fees.
