Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

March 2016 Sponsors

March 2016 Sponsors, thank you for working with me on A July Dreamer and offering so many opportunities that I did not think would be possible 3 years ago (this July) when I started blogging. I didn’t start blogging in hopes of getting sponsored or free things these have been added bonuses, I started as a way to pass the boredom and rant as well as share my loves. Looking back, I have achieved so much but I also know my success is not the same as the next person and I try not to compare.

Thank you sponsors

March 2016 Sponsors

clutchHouse of Fraser – I worked with them last month so it was a welcome sight to see them wanting to work with me again via a PR. I put together two posts; How to clutch your outfit, a way to show you how you can dress clutch bags/purses and Leon’s Style showcasing some of the ways you can style your son/nephew’s outfits.

march must havesProline Skates – I shared with you my March Must Haves list which included some skates, reason being last summer MOH too me staking (well can’t call it that since I wouldn’t move from the wall) and I thought this year I will be prepared and get my own so I can practice at the local ice rink (this hasn’t happened but it is being thought of 🙂 ).

work dinner outfitVivienne Westwood Bags – When I put this outfit together, I had a work dinner and party to attend that find which I ended up not attending as I mixed my dates but I still loved putting this outfit together and this bag is just too gorgeous.

Bolsover – I had previously worked with his company last year via PR and was happy to work with them again via the same PR. The challenge #meddysteadycook was a cooking challenge to cook a Mediterranean meal to be in with a chance to win a two night mini-cruise for two courtesy of P&O Ferries. It was a fun challenge but not one I am liking to win since my cooking is as good as my German 🙂 but it was nice to work with this company again.

its a dogs lifePanasonic – I collaborated with Panasonic via PR to share with you a Dog’s life, a video on giving your furry friend a day off and letting the Panasonic smart home system protect your home. To join the competition, upload a photo or video of you and your ‘Very Important Pet’ VIP, sharing the love using the hashtag #MyVIP for a chance to win a two-night stay in a luxury hotel and other great prizes worth up to £2,000

Social Media: Facebook, Twitter

stripes in fashionButterfly Twists – I was contacted by the company to try out their Jade flats and share my honest opinion, the flats I am rocking up to this day. They have become my go to flats and wearing them to work and on my day out trips plus my getaways, they are just so comfortable plus foldable so they are very much-loved. I shared two ways that I styled these new must have flats HERE and HERE.

writing a will

Writing a Will: What you need to know – this post was one which came at the right time for many people, I will admit as a young lady this is not something I think about. When my parents were talking about writing a will and having life insurance it touched a nerve for me, I know it is something that must be done but it just makes me sad when they talk about when they won’t be around no more but as I said is it something that has to be done.

These are the amazing sponsors that made my March 2016 sponsor’s post, I am forever grateful for working with me and hope to see you again on the blog.

**I work directly with companies and via PR’s, which ever way you would like to collaborate with A July Dreamer, please check out my work with me page for my fees**

March was my 1 year anniversary and while I hoped to turn it into a business I didn’t expect to get all this free swag and be able to partner with some of my favorite companies and share them with the world. i love the work dinner and party outfit i don’t know if you watch Scandal but it makes me think of Olivia Pope.
