Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Monthly Roundup} April 2017 Sponsors ~ Thank you

April 2017 sponsors, marks the fourth monthly roundup of the year. I believe in showing gratitude to the awesome sponsors I collaborated with in the ending month. Plus it is another opportunity for my readers to recap on some of the articles I shared.

I feel like a broken record saying the same thing about how tough and busy this month has been. March was a tough month but April had its own challenges too, though more personal than March. But even with that I still love taking time to say thank you to all my readers {new and old}. Without you I wouldn’t have such great sponsors who are helping bring A July Dreamer to new heights.

Thank you sponsors

April 2017 Sponsors #ThankYou

Whilst the month of April was a tough one for me, I still managed to take some time and collaborate with different companies. As usual collaborations come in different forms which include; content and/or product provision, monetary exchange or both. Whilst I might be provided with product or even paid to share content, it does not change my stance on delivering the truth. There is no point in being dishonest as a blogger for your word is your bond and reputation.

With that being said, here are the many awesome April 2017 sponsors {companies and brands} I collaborated with. Please note, the order of these sponsors does not show any preference because I am grateful to all equally. Blogging has brought great opportunities to my life and I am forever grateful to the readers and sponsors.

I was fortunate to be asked to collaborate with Ultimate Experience to bring you London venue ideas. London is such a vast city offering so much choice to the mass yet not everyone knows about some of its hidden gems. I put together some venues one might consider hiring for a party or even work conference.

Benefits of Essential oils was another post I shared my thoughts on these amazing oils. Whilst I rarely use them, I have personal experience with how effective they can be. There are so many companies out there boosting to be providing the best essential oils. It is therefore important to ensure you check the suppliers of these essential oils that they truly are essential oils.

When I shared 5 ways to fund your next getaway and included a payday loan, I received mixed reviews. I had put a disclaimer early on that the ideas wouldn’t be for everyone. 90% of us have been in debt before and whilst I am debt free there are times when I might need a little help. Payday loans can be both your friend or your energy dependent on your use of them. I mentioned I had had a bad taste when I was younger and whilst I avoid them now, I am wiser.

April 2017 Sponsors ~ Product + monetary exchange

Jacamo is a men’s brand offering fashion ideas to all men on all budgets featuring incredible brands. I had heard of the brand prior to the collaboration and seen the many ads on TV. I was happy to collaborate with the brands as they help me spoil the men in my life {daddy and brother dearest}. What I love about Jacamo is they cater for every man, daddy is more formal and brother is more casual

Ooh Accessories is a company that was totally new to me but I am a girl who loves bags so I said yes upon website review. For me a good bag is everything especially because I travel lots and need a bag that can hold its own. It is because of my many travels that I need a strong bag which I can carry everyone. The bag I chose is a great colour, is strong and totally gorgeous.

ooh accessories

Simply Beach reached out to me in March but I didn’t get to share my thoughts in March due to my travels. The bikini bras I chose where from Freya, a brand I wasn’t too familiar with but loved the items. Summer is fast approaching even though it doesn’t feel like it so its paramount to have that beach-wear ready.

Exception

Wen is a brand I am familiar with but never actually used on myself there I couldn’t give you an honest opinion. It was prudent for me to have someone whose used the products from the brand to provide their opinion. As someone who needs all the help they can get with their hair, I am always open to ideas.

And there you have it folks, the awesome sponsors that I had a pleasure of partnering up with in April of 2017. Have you ever heard of any of my sponsors or use any of their products?

That’s great that you got to work with so many different sponsors. I am trying to figure all of that out myself. But it’s great that you have brands that you believe in and have been able to work with on here.
