Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Sponsor Roundup: February 2019 Collaborations

With a grateful heart, every month I take a moment to count my blessings both in life and #ontheblog. For the February 2019 Collaborations, as with other months, I am counting my blogging blessings. Unlike with the January 2019 Collaborations, the February 2019 Collaborations were few and far between. Regardless, the collaborations we enjoyed in February 2019, are no less impressive than those from previous months.

In our sponsor roundup posts, we aim is to be transparent with our readers on all collaborations we’ve had that month. The February 2019 Collaborations sponsor roundup post will focus only on the collaborations we had in February 2019. As we highlight the various collaborations we’ve enjoyed, please take a moment to visit each brand again. Thank you for supporting the brands that support A July Dreamer.

February 2019 Collaborations

Sponsor Roundup: February 2019 Collaborations

February 2019 was a much slower month collaboration-wise compared to other months even January 2019. I chose to spend more of the month relaxing whilst I was in Thailand gallivanting around the country. Even though I spent most of my time sleeping on the beach, we still enjoyed some February 2019 Collaborations.

If you’re a brand or PR and want to collaborate with us on A July Dreamer, please reach out. Visit our Work with Me page for more details on the types of collaborations we offer. We accept collaborations in the following areas; Lifestyle {smooking and gambling, not accepted}, Travel {Press trips, holiday home reviews welcomed}, Fashion {women and men}, Food+Drink {Restaurants and products} and Beauty {Skincare, haircare etc}.

Featured February 2019 Collaborations

  • Langstone Cliff Hotel – we had an amazing opportunity to travel to Devon, our bucketlist destination. Whilst we Devon, we stayed at Langstone Cliff Hotel on a complimentary basis in exchange for our honest review.
  • Land of Rugs – we were sent a lovely wool rug on a complimentary basis in exchange for our honest review. It is such a gorgeous rug and the colour is now lighting up my living room.
  • The Personalised Gift Shop – this was our second collaboration with this company and can’t recommend them enough. Both the gifts I have chosen from there website received such high praise from the recipients.
  • Biscuiteers – I am a sucker for biscuits and often buy them in my home so this collaboration was totally welcome. We personally think it would make such a perfect Mother’s Day present.

Whenever I review the collaborations I have had in each ended month, I am always in awe. I am glad that we were able to tick off a Bucketlist Destination thanks to a collaboration with a brand. We are humbled that our living room its even more attractive than before thanks to a brand. I feel grateful that I can gift my family something different thanks to a brand.

Blogging has opened more doors for us than we thought would ever be possible. We’ve enjoyed adventures far and near thanks to the various brands and PRs we’ve collaborated with. I am excited for the rest of 2019 as it is definitely looking more and more promising.
