Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Sponsors} Thank you July 2015 sponsors

Omg July is done and dusted, we have officially passed the halfway mark for 2015. I swear 2015 has a huge mission in store for me, so many amazing things have happened and continue to happen and I am so grateful, how did I get so blessed? Thank you Lord.

As usual with this type of post I like to extend my eternal gratitude to all the sponsors who have graced this blog either via guest post collaboration, sponsoring or just reading this post in general. Thank you so much I am truly grateful and can not thank you enough.

Summer Wishlist

Urban Retreat – I was fortunate enough to be contacted by a PR company to work with this online boutique which offers so many high-end brands and some not so known brands. I have loved scouring this website and picking me a some after-sun cream and a load of makeup with SPF in them.

Event Planning – I worked with another PR who I worked with last month to bring you a post on Factors to consider when planning a corporate event in Toronto but as I mentioned in the post the tips shared are interchangeable to whatever region you’re based in.

Lean Greens – superfood powder is a new food product for me I was fortunate enough to be sent the starter kit which contains the tub of superfood powder and a mixer. The beauty of this superfood is that it mixes easily in water and for those of us who prefer juices more than water you can mix the superfood with your favourite juice. I also had the pleasure to be sent an ice ball maker and ice mold which has honestly revolutionised the way I use the ice cubes (balls) in my favourite drinks.

AHAVA – A brand new beauty line for me, prior to be offered the opportunity to review this brand I had never heard of them but now I am more than happy to have been given an opportunity to Review some of their amazing products. They have taken all the beauty and benefits that the dead sea can offer and brought it right to our door steps.

When I shared the importance of bedroom accessories one thing that echoed throughout the reader’s comments was the importance of having black-out curtains especially for those who work unsociable hours and need to sleep during the day or even during summer time when it gets dark later.

I was very fortunate enough to be sent a bundle of products from Sinivalia, a UK company making natural and pure products. I am loving these products too much, I reviewed the Sinivalia oils and both myself and you my readers were impressed by these products especially with the benefits they offer. I was also sent the Bentonite clay face mask by Sinivalia and omg how did I ever go without this pot of clay? I have not only used it on my face but parts on my body too where I have some skin condition and it has gone and cleared that.

With my many mini-getaways comes the need to ensure that my gadgets are charged at all times regardless of where I am. This can be difficult trying to find a place to charge when on the go but I have being saved that heartache by being sent the Xiaomi mobile power bank which honestly has been a great addition to gadget collection. I will admit it is heavier than my own power banks but it also seems to last longer than the others so I definitely forgive the makers of it.

And Finally when Summer started I wanted to give my body the best look and feel it needed and deserved after such a harsh winter. Sinivalia had sent me some body butter made from Aloe Vera, it is absolutely amazing and applies so went, gets absorbed into the skin and keeps my skin moisturised throughout the day. I was also sent a Veet roll on kit to help me start my summer with hairless legs and thighs, it was my first time using this kit and I must say I am chicken so anything that involves waxing I run away from but I had to try it sometime so was pleased when I did and the results are just remarkable.

And that is as they say is that, thank you again so much to all my sponsors, guest bloggers and all other collaborators. I am always humbled every time I am contacted by either the company, pr or even fellow bloggers who want to work and collaborate.

To my potential sponsors, please visit my sponsorship page for an idea of my fees and what each fee category will get you.

To my readers as always, thank you for helping me continue to blog. I never started out to gain readers nor sponsors but I am very grateful for how far I have come with your support.

This year is going way too quickly!!! I always love skin products and was interested in the product here. Now that summer is coming to an end, I want to make sure my skin is not drying out.
