Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

Sponsor Roundup · June 30, 2015

{Sponsors} Thank you June 2015 sponsors

Thank you

I can not believe June has already come to an end, how did that happen? Between the stress of setting up a new home and wanting some me time to myself it’s weird to think June is done. Also I can not believe I am only a few days away from my 28th birthday and my 2 year blogaversary, seriously though where is time going?

As with all my thank you sponsor posts I try to include all the wonderful sponsors and collaborators that I worked with in the ending month, it is so weird that we are 6 months done into 2015. I have had the best opportunities so far and I am so thankful to everyone who has been helping me grow this blog, so down to the sponsors of June 2015.

Skinny teatox

Skinny Teatox – I was sent a 14 day skinny teatox package, which I personally think did help with some of the weight loss have experienced but as I mentioned in my Review of the program it was also down to good diet, Shakeology and T-25 exercise program. I think everyone should try it with a physician or dietitian’s consent. You can find out more about skinny teatox on their website or Twitter.

Brighton weekendgetaway

Travelodge Brighton – I was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity to Review the hotel chain, I had a choice of having a 2 night stay in any travelodge in the UK mainland and I choose Brighton so I could spend some time at the seaside. I enjoyed my stay there, the rooms where very clean, food was good my only complaint was the WiFi which you had to pay to use for more than half an hour.

Morning Routine – I recently shared with you my new morning routine, as I have mentioned many times on the blog I never had much of a routine until I started blogging and trying out all these amazing products. Last month I was able to review OZ natural’s serum and Instanatural’s night cream and vitamin c toner. You all know my love for Oz Natural products as I have reviewed them before, this is my second reviewing Instanatural’s products and I still love them.

RANDOR

Randor – I collaborated with the lovely company who provided this awesome post on signs you have found a reputable jewellery store. Most of you appreciated the post and mentioned how not everyone knew this, I am definitely one who would never had thought about the information provided until I was scammed but now I am armed with this information.

Summer must haves – obviously with summer way under way in most countries it was a must for me to share my summer must have post and give you an idea of some of the items you should ensure you have with you this summer.

Afternoon Tea

Tour London with THISTLE & BB Bakery – I had an awesome opportunity to meet up with fellow bloggers and board the afternoon tea London tour bus. This event was organised by Joe’s Blogger network in conjunction with Thistle and BB bakery who provided the treats.

Yorkshire Linen – I collaborated with this awesome company to come up with ideas for my new home and some of the items I was looking to purchase for my apartment. Though stressful I am loving my new digs, decorating it to my liking has been awesome.

fashion secrets

5 Slimming tricks every woman should know – I remember sharing this get post and how much I enjoyed reading the post before I shared it online. It’s amazing what wearing the right clothes can do for your self esteem and just how it makes one feel.

Thank you again to all my awesome sponsors, hope to work with you all again.

Which of my sponsors were your most favourite?

I think it’s lovely that you thank your sponsors at the end of every month, so gracious of you. I recently stayed in a Travelodge in London, not complimentary either and was so annoyed that you had to pay for wi-fi, I’ve never experienced that in any other hotel I’ve stayed in.

I was not impressed with paying for wi-fi thought that was included in the hotel room price, it should be fully advertised that guests have to pay to use wi-fi
