Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Monthly Roundup} November 2018 Sponsors

The November 2018 Sponsors is a monthly roundup of all the collaborative opportunities we’ve had in November. At the end of each month, I allocate some time to review all the opportunities and give thanks. Whilst A July Dreamer was started as a hobby, it is a profitable one and a small business.

In 2018, the November 2018 Sponsors roundup is the eleventh dedication post highlighting the brands. One thing to emphasise is that we collaborate with all brands that match our ethos. Please visit our Work with Me page for more details on our fees and types of collaborations we offer.

Roundup: November 2018 Sponsors

This article is written as a token of my appreciation for the opportunities and a recap for all my readers. Here are the various collaborations we had highlighted in the November 2018 Sponsors post.

In hopes of making the article more digestible, I have grouped the collaborations into types. A July Dreamer is a Travel, Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle blog and these are the categories in this article.

  • getting older
  • The East London Markets
  • Japanese Chocolate Candy

Lifestyle Collaborations – November 2018 Sponsors

Christmas is only a few short weeks away, I felt all festive in November and it was reflected #ontheblog. Starting with some sweet treats, find out why Japanese Candy makes for the perfect Christmas gift. If you’re not into sweets and then focus on the festive cheers and parties for the new year.

One place that I always think of to spend New Year’s Eve in London as its always vibrant. This year have spent more time in London than any other year because of blog collaborations. I even had the chance to visit East London Markets which are the cultural hub of London.

The other day I saw an ad on TV that reminded me that Christmas time is not all festive cheers. Instead, there are people who have no one to celebrate with or even spend time with. This is why I wanted to share this collaborate article on preparing for when you’re older.

  • London Stansted Airport Escape Lounge
  • The Complete Salzburg Guide

Travel Collaborations – November Sponsors 2018

November was a month full of travel adventures, three trips abroad and two local adventures. Four of the five trips were collaborative in part of completely and we loved it. Including my trip to Gdansk, Poland where the weather was super cold reaching lows of -4.

At the beginning of the month, I collaborated with Bremen Tourism who prepared an amazing itinerary. Then, week after I went off to Salzburg thanks to a collaboration with Salzburg Info (Tourism). The third week I had a lovely adventure in North Wales reviewing a luxury bunkhouse.

Speaking of luxury, my flying base, London Stansted, has an Escape Lounge where you can relax before your flight. In November I visited 2 out of 3 times have flown from the airport.

  • Home Repairs
  • Instantly Improve your Bathroom

Home Collaborations – November Sponsors 2018

Over the last couple of months, we’ve done a few home renovations our selves to save money. I have spoken about works that a professional is required for but their others that can be DIY’d. Most importantly, it pays to know what you can do yourselves and what you shouldn’t.

Speaking of DIY works in your home, we shared content on simple ways to vamp your bathroom. Everyone can appreciate that renovation a home is not easy fee and can be costly.

  • Madame Tussauds London
  • Ma Petite Jamaica London

Other Collaboration – November Sponsors 2018

The collaborations mentioned in this section are those that fit into more than one category. It, therefore, made sense to add them into their own category. At the end of October, we were invited to attend a Halloween themed party at Madame Tussauds. Though I didn’t personally attend, my side-kick aka my sister went with a friend on my behalf.

As mentioned above, we spent more time in London in November than any other time ever. One other thing we did was take mum to Ma Petite, a Jamaican inspired restaurant for lunch. I also went to Sutton back in October where I enjoyed some Street Foods in St Nicholas Shopping Centre.

When I start working more with brands I certainly want to do a sponsorship roundup post like this. What a brilliant way to give your sponsors one more shout out. And, it could even be used in the pitch! Love this
