For the last 2 years moving onto three years I have made travel an essential part of my life.
I was excited to share my 2017 travels with you all as they were happening. Sat here home alone I thought I share with you the 2017 travels you have been loving so much. I feel honoured and blessed to be able to travel as much as I do now. It is not something I have taken for granted but rather very appreciative of my good fortune. This year I have decided to restart the #Take12Tripstravel challenge again, I did the 1st in 2016 and completed it.
Most viewed 2017 travels !
2017 was an incredible year in more ways than one, yes bad things happened but so did good. Personally I had more ups than downs and for that I am truly grateful and excited for 2018. Focusing purely on the travels, it has been a truly amazing year. With that said, here are some of the most viewed 2017 travels;
- Top Five Must See in Brno!
This is one of the most viewed post on A July Dreamer, I shared this post in 2016 after my visit to Brno. For those who don’t know, Brno is one of the largest cities in Czech Republic. Most are familiar with Prague but not so much Brno, it was an exciting time exploring the city alone.
- 10 Things (I would like) to do in New Year!
To this day I am still reminiscing about my split second travel to New York for a business trip in 2015. I had hoped to see more of the city but it wasn’t budgeted for so I opted to create this dream post instead. Those who know me know of my desire to visit this glorious city one day.
Explore the heart of Paris by Boat!
I have been to the love city a number of times now and I felt it would be nice to see it via the river. Part of my tour package was getting on a boat and having a small cruise. It was truly breathtaking as and I can not recommend it enough for sure.

Not once did I think I would find myself in Qatar but as fate would have it I did and it was incredible. Though we went at the start of Ramadan during the summer, we still had a lovely time. If you ever find yourself in Qatar, make sure to read up on the proper etiquette.
The best things to do in Cyprus for first-timers!!
Being a first timer it was super important to know some of the things I learnt AFTER the trip. I wish I had known but regardless it was an incredible time for sure. I am hoping to travel back to Cyprus but this time in much warmer months.

I have been solo traveling for the last 3 years now and it has taught me a few things. I put these to tips together of things I hope other solo female travelers can use. As a female solo traveler is even more important for me to ensure I am safe at all times.
- Local Adventures: Waddesdon Manor
This was a definite surprise for me seeing it on the list, it is one of the local adventures that I barely did. On all my adventures I have been able to enter the manor, tour it and explore the grounds. This time I was only able to tour the grounds and enjoy breakfast at the Waddesdon Manor Restaurant.

What a nice hobby. Some people dream of travelling but you just go out and do it. Travelling like that must take a lot of time and planning. The would-be- traveler would also have to have a lot of time on his/her hands. You also travel 12 rimes a year,. Howe do you manage so much travelling?

I’ve been to Paris once. It was too cold to go on a boat though. If I return, it’d be during a warmer month, hopefully, when I could enjoy more.
