Looking back at each decade, I feel both ‘older’ and ‘younger’, I see the change in my features, the change in my way of life, the change in my personality and the experience itched on my face. I am grateful for the life I have lived thus far and excited for the life I am yet to live.
••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

2026 - 39, (Home, England), I am ready for this final year before my 40s but also ready for this next decade.
2016 - 29, (Oslo, Norway), this decade was about self discovery and building the life I dreamt about. The life that I am super proud of and truly grateful to be living. This decade, I built my financial life and in later years choose to heal from the trauma gained in the last decade and now I feel well equipped for the future.
2006 - 19, (Glasgow, Scotland), I thought I was grown (look at the cheekbones 🤣🤣) and ready for the world, chiiiild was I wrong, let’s just say, I am still resolving the trauma the decade brought me but I am grateful because I met my best friends and made decisions for the future I wanted to have. (Spoiler alert - I did better than I dreamed).
1996 - 9, (Home, Zambia) this was my birthday but my little sister insisted she had to be the one in the middle. The only way we knew whose birthday it was, was by standing in the middle but this year I remember baby sister crying her eyes out and refusing 🤨
1988 - 9 months, (Chililabombwe, Zambia) although my mother looks tired and traumatised😟, I know I was loved and happy.

{Monthly Roundup} November 2017 Sponsors #thankyou

November 2017 Sponsors is the Eleventh installment of the monthly roundup to show my gratitude to the sponsors. I also feel it is appropriate to thank my incredible readers new and old who continuously support A July Dreamer. You supporting the brands that support me makes me truly happy and I am grateful for that. To the sponsors, I feel blessed and fortunate to have an opportunity to collaborate together. This is not something I take for granted, I am eternally grateful and this is how I show my thanks {again}.

{MONTHLY ROUNDUP} November 2017 Sponsors

November 2017 has been an incredibly busy month around these parts with multiple deadlines. We have collaborated with some truly incredible brands in the runner-up to Christmas. Obviously it is our wish to see them again on the blog but even once as been an honoured in itself. The November 2017 sponsors have come in all shapes and sizes and we couldn’t be more happy. Most of the collaborations are often Fashion or Lifestyle but we collaborate with travel brands and many more.

preparing your kitchen

If you’re new to A July Dreamer or a potential partner who would love to collaborate, see Work with Me. I offer various types of collaborative opportunities and you’re welcome to ask for more details.

November 2017 Sponsors: Fashion Collaborations

Our most recent collaboration was with Hawthorn a UK clothing manufacturer leading the Sustainable Fashion campaign. We are happy to have collaborated with them because they have brought to our attention the importance of Sustainable Fashion. The Fashion industry is a billion dollar business but it is also the second largest pollutant today. Dobell is another incredible brand we’ve had the pleasure of working with this month. They are another UK brand specializing in men’s fashion and considered ‘best smart value in the UK’. We recently collaborated with them on the Gift Guide for him and my brother loves his smart fit suit.

Speaking of Gift Guides, we put together the Ultimate Family Gift Guide with all my family’s presents. Which included a lovely coat and cardigan from JD Williams as well as some lovely Harry Potter jewelry from EMP. Another thing I love apart from jewelry is sexy nightwear which Hunkemoller hooked me up with.

Lifestyle Collaborations

What I love about lifestyle collaborations is it can be any brands that are family friendly brands. It can be money lending firms like Northcash, we can all do with a top up especially as Christmas expenses pile up. Or a hotel like Beech Hotel which have the best suites ever and has incredible afternoon tea menu. It could also be a tea company like Fruittox offering you the best teatox options. We included all these incredible brands in our Gift Guide for Tea and Coffee Lovers. It could also be letting agents like Homelet who prompted us to share our #rentingrules tips.

Bakerdays a cake company in Nottinghamshire creative this incredible letterbox cake for my blogs. Both blogs; A July Dreamer and The Myrabev Life are 4 years old which called for cake. The cake came well personalised and preserved too, it tasted real yummy too. The celebrations didn’t end there as Ibiza Ice sent us some lovely sparkling wine. This is definitely my kind of wine, sweet made from natural flavours and low in calories.

tea and coffee lovers

Prestige Hampers definitely came through for us with the incredible hamper they sent us. It definitely started off the early Christmas celebrations in my home with all of the amazing products. Another item which came through was the Tassimo Coffee Machine which is in constant use. I am not big on coffee but love that Tassimo has tea pods as well as hot chocolate pods.

If you’re still stressing about not having started your Christmas shopping, fear not. The #onelessworry campaign is here to help you find the numbers you need.

November 2017 Sponsors: Content Provision Collaborations

Christmas is around the corner and as expenses start to pile up, its important to be aware of quirky budget items. Christmas on a budget is not always a bad thing, sometime it is one of the best things ever. As we lead up to Christmas the weather has dipped lower over the last couple of days. Winter is definitely coming, is your home winter ready and is it ready to receive guests during the festive season? Though winter is on its way it doesn’t mean we have to hibernate but if we do, how’s the mattress? Also don’t shy away from injecting some colour into your wardrobe during the colder months.

Christmas gift guide

The festive season and especially Valentine’s Day is when most people get proposed to. We shared some places you might consider popping the question to your beloved. All the celebrations were happening in my kitchen though I am not sure my kitchen is ready for winter. There is just too much to consider and think about with the festive season fast approaching.

If you’re looking for ideas on where to take your kids whilst in Denver, check these places out. Throughout autumn I have enjoyed visiting my local national trust properties which have incredible estates. Many a time I have been left speechless by the sheer beauty of this places.

Travel Collaborations

Autumn though feels gone, it’s not over yet and these European countries are still enjoying the autumnal sun. I wouldn’t mind visiting any of these places again during the winter months as well. Even though winter travel is not my favourite time, I have these winter travel tips that I often follow.

Europe in Autumn

As you can see the November 2017 sponsors have been quite varied and come in different formats. It can be product reviews, sponsored posts or content provision to A July Dreamer.
